Describing the longitudinal permittivity of plasma using a two-parametric equation

Properties of a Maxwell plasma are considered in the case where electron-electron collisions become significant. An analytical expression for the longitudinal permittivity of plasma is obtained using a two-parametric kinetic equation that takes these collisions into account. When the frequency of electron-electron collisions tends to zero, the results tend to those known in the classical limit. An analysis of various limiting cases is presented.
