Abstract: The joint effect of a spin-polarized current and an external magnetic field on the magnetization dynamics in vortex spin-transfer nano-oscillators 400 nm in diameter has been investigated. The coupled dynamics of magnetic vortices has been calculated numerically using the SpinPM software package for micromagnetic simulation. The dependence of the frequency of stationary coupled vortex oscillations on the magnetic field, which determines the operating frequency range of a tunable vortex spin-transfer nano-oscillator, is found.

Keywords: magnetic vortices, spin-transfer nano-oscillator, magnetic nanodiscs.
