Abstract:
The thermal and optical properties of a combined (hybrid) metal–dielectric reflector comprising a gold layer and distributed Bragg reflector composed of alternating In$_{0.52}$Al$_{0.48}$As/In$_{0.53}$Ga$_{0.47}$As bilayers are considered. It is established that a high coefficient of reflection of the hybrid structure can be achieved at low absorption in the metal and relatively small total thickness of the dielectric reflector.
