Abstract:
A modification of a radiofrequency Paul trap with a rotating toroidal electrode for confinement of charged microobjects under normal conditions is presented. Confinement of vegetable spores of the genus Lycopodium Clavatum with a characteristic size of 33 $\pm$ 3 $\mu$m is demonstrated. At confining such objects the extended orbits are observed. The principle of generation of two-dimensional extended orbits in an electrodynamic trap with rotating electrode is described.
