Abstract: An alternative method for the synthesis of samples of high-temperature superconductors (HTSCs) is proposed, in which nanoscale superconducting layers should form on the surface of refractory granules of the “green phase” Ho$_{2}$BaCuO$_{5}$ immersed in the liquid phase BaCuO$_{2}$ + CuO
