Laminar chaos in a delayed-feedback generator

Abstract: The phenomenon of laminar chaos is experimentally investigated for the first time in a radioengineering delayed-feedback generator in which the delay time is modulated by an external harmonic signal. The regions of existence of various regimes of laminar chaos on the plane of parameters of external excitation are plotted. The nonlinear function of the generator in the laminar chaotic regime is reconstructed.
