Improving the piezoelectric properties of PZT ceramics by low-temperature cycling

Abstract: The piezoelectric properties of lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramics can be improved by low-temperature cyclic treatment. It is established that the conditions of ceramics storage predetermine whether a series of high-gradient thermal shock processing will improve or degrade the material properties.
