Abstract:
Specific features of monitoring the state of a flowing medium by method of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) are considered. An approach to studying the state of a flowing medium by monitoring variation of the values of longitudinal $(T_1)$ and transverse $(T_2)$ relaxation times is justified. Optimum relations between parameters of the system of NMR signal registration and magnetic fields are established. Obeying these relations allows the signal to noise ratio level $S/N>$ 5 to be obtained for measuring the $T_1$ and $T_2$ values online at an error not exceeding 1%. Results of experimental investigations are presented.
