The thermovoltaic effect in cerium sesquisulphide

Abstract: The thermovoltaic effect in cerium sesquisulphide (Ce$_2$S$_3$) is found. Measurements are carried out in a temperature range of 300–455 K. The maximum value of the generated voltage is $\sim$60 mV; however, the thermovoltaic effect is 37 mV.
