Abstract: It is shown that the addition of light-sensitive particles to a polystyrene matrix enables control over processes of resistive voltage switching in the composite material, which involve photoinduced transitions between states with different conductivities. This specific feature of polymeric composite materials based on polystyrene and heterocyclic rings can be accounted for in terms of the model of charge accumulation and that of conducting channels.
