Study of the electrochemical properties of a supercapacitor electrode based on nickel oxide of vacuum-arc synthesis

Abstract: The working electrode of the electrochemical cell was obtained by vacuum-arc deposition of NiO nanoparticles on a graphite plate in an argon/oxygen atmosphere. The measurements were carried out using a two-electrode scheme. The electrochemical properties of the fabricated electrode (as part of an electrochemical cell) were studied using the electrochemical impedance method, cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge. 6 M KOH was used as the electrolyte.
