Abstract: A mathematical model of the electrical properties of erythrocytes in normal and pathological conditions is presented. Using the proposed model, the role of the surface charge of erythrocytes in changing the speed of cell movement under the influence of an external electric field has been investigated. It is assumed that the presented model will allow for the description of the movement of erythrocytes with adsorbed viral particles as a mechanism for metastasis and recurrence in the development of oncological diseases.

Keywords: red blood cells, viral particles, surface charge, mathematical modeling, dynamics of red blood cell movement, scanning electron microscopy.
