Features of the formation of the distribution function of fast electrons formed in plasma as a result of processes involving metastable atoms and molecules

Abstract: The analysis of the influence of Penning ionization and de-excitation processes involving long-lived metastable atoms and molecules on the formation of electron distribution functions in gas-discharge plasma with recombination nonequilibrium is performed and their classification is given.
