Waveguide triple-mode resonator

Abstract: This work examines a triple-mode waveguide resonator operating on the TM$_{110}$ and TE$_{10}$ modes. It is shown that this resonator has a pseudo-elliptical amplitude-frequency response (AFC). A method is described to reduce the bandwidth. The influence of the geometric dimensions of a waveguide triple-mode resonator on its frequency response has been studied.
