Abstract:
We have studied peculiarities of the behavior of magnetic susceptibility $\chi$' of an organosilicon based magnetic fluid under the action of an electric field and a combination of electric and magnetic fields. It is established that an external electric field affects the temperature dependence of $\chi'$. The obtained results are related to structural changes in the system–the appearance of a labyrinth structure in the electric field and transformation of this structure under the additional action of a magnetic field.
