A Eulerian–Lagrangian description of cavitating flow

Abstract: We propose a method of cavitating flow calculation that is based on the Eulerian–Lagrangian description of multiphase flows. The formation and growth of cavitation bubbles are described using the model of heterogeneous volume nucleation. Results of test calculations demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed model.
