Abstract: The impact of implanted hydrogen atoms on mechanical properties and characteristics of plastic-flow localization upon tensile stresses of the polycrystalline Fe–0.07 wt% C alloy is studied. Using the method of double-exposure speckle photography, we identified the main types and parameters of plastic-flow localization at different stages of strain hardening as a result of electrolytic saturation in a three-electrode electrochemical cell at a constant controlled cathodic potential.
