Abstract: It is experimentally demonstrated that photoinduced gratings in lithium niobate single crystals can be used as tunable high-frequency resonators for the surface and bulk acoustic waves. The resonance frequency can be tuned within broad limits by rewriting gratings with interfering laser beams.
