Optimal choice of light field sources

Abstract: The problem of optimal choice of light source on luminous surface is posed and solved according to the criterion of minimum energy comsunption. A method for solving the problem is being developed, based on reducing it to a linear programming problem. A software system for solving problem is described, and the results of numerical experiments are presented.
