On the structure of the set of homogeneous polynomial vector fields on the plane

Abstract: The paper introduced a characteristic of structurally stable homogeneous polynomial vector fields on the plane – the type of the vector field. It is a cyclic integer sequence. Two such vector fields are topological equivalent if and only if their types coinsided or are mutually invevse. The connected components of the set of structurally stable homogeneous polynomial vector fields of fixed degree n are described. Two vector fields belong to one connected component, if and only if they are of the same type.
