Problem of heavy fluid flow above a plate in the presence of a vortex

The free-surface flow of a heavy incompressible inviscid ideal fluid along a semi-infinite plate with the formation of a vortex near its edge is investigated. Solitary wave type flows are considered. A unique solution with a free vortex is obtained.
