Abstract: This paper presents the results of measurements of static pressure in the critical mode of steam-water flow from long pipes of diameter 50.2 and 100.1 mm at various distances from their outlet section. The measurements were performed at flow rates and enthalpies of the mixture characteristic of geothermal coolants. It is found that the mixture flow rates obtained experimentally significantly exceed the estimation results obtained using well-known models.

Keywords: steam-water mixture, critical mode of outflow, pressure, flow rate, enthalpy.
