On determining stresses in rigid inclusions. Plane problems

Abstract: Plane problems of determining the stress-strain state of an isotropic elastic domain with a rigid inclusion are considered. It is shown that the stress field in the inclusion is uniquely determined. This field is uniform for a plane with an elliptic inclusion, and the stresses at infinity and in the inclusion are related by mutually single-valued formulas.
