Abstract: A thin film flow of a viscous liquid flowing down a vertical wall in the field of the gravity force is studied. The values of temperatures on the solid wall and on the free surface are constant. The viscosity and thermal diffusivity are functions of temperature. An equation that describes the evolution of surface disturbances is derived for small flow rates in the long-wave approximation.

Keywords: nonisothermal film flow, evolution equation, soliton solutions.
