Concentration convection of a colloidal solution in a ball cavity

Abstract: A problem of sedimentation-induced concentration convection in a spherical cavity is considered. It is shown, that the flow is formed due to concentration inhomogeneity near the surface and has the form of two tori, and the convection leads to acceleration separation of the mixture.
