Criteria for the separation of unsteady ideal fluid flow past a smooth airfoil

Abstract: Criteria for the separation of unsteady flow past a closed smooth airfoil are studied using the ideal fluid model and the Brillouin–Villat criterion. The necessary separation conditions are formulated.
