Impact dynamics of damaged shells interacting with a two-phase liquid

Abstract: The propagation of shock waves in a system consisting of a deformable medium with damage and a two-phase liquid with gas or vapor bubbles are studied. The nonlinear interaction of the media are modeled taking into account phase transformations in the liquid and the damage kinetics of the deformable medium.
