Abstract:
A plane supersonic flow with symmetric perpendicular injection of jets through slots in the walls is numerically simulated with the use of
Navier–Stokes equations. The effect of the jet pressure ratio and Mach number on the flow structure is considered. The angle of inclination of the shock wave and the separation-region length are found as functions of the jet pressure ratio. The influence of the jet pressure ratio on the increase in the lift force arising owing to interaction of the flow with the injected jet is found.
