Re-entering of bodies with a positive lift-to-drag ratio into the Earth's atmosphere

Abstract: The problem of gliding descent of a smooth blunted body with a positive lift-to-drag ratio in the Earth's atmosphere is solved within the framework of the parabolized viscous shock layer model.
