A packet of elastic plates joined along a periodic system of segments

Abstract: A packet of infinite thin elastic plates joined along a periodic system of collinear segments is considered. The elastic properties and thicknesses of the plates can be different. The plates are loaded by tensile forces at infinity. An algorithm for determining the complex potentials governing stresses in the plates is constructed by solving the Riemann matrix boundary-value problem. The stress-intensity factors are found and their graphs are given.
