Gas-dynamic method of decreasing the force of penetration of a solid into ground

Abstract: A new gas-dynamic method for decreasing the resistance of ground to the penetration of a solid body is developed. The physical essence of the process is considered. Theoretical fundamentals of scaled modeling are given. Results of experimental studies are presented, and the range of parameter for which the method is effective is determined.
