Experimental study of the mixing of fluid flows with different temperatures in a T-junction

Abstract: This paper presents the results of an experimental study of mixing fluid flows with different temperatures in a T-junction. The experiments were performed with liquids having substantially different physical properties. The distributions of the average and fluctuation temperatures on the surface of the wall of the T-junction and the structure of the temperature fields in the region of mixing of flows of cold and hot liquids were obtained.
