Abstract:
The problems in the construction of bodies which, satisfying some geometric limitations, are exposed to a plane symmetric flow of a perfect (inviscid and heat-nonconducting) gas with a maximum critical Mach number $\mathrm{M}_*$ are considered. Solutions are found by a numerical-analytical method with the use of the variables of the velocity hodograph. The Mach number $\mathrm{M}_*$ is found as a function of the geometric characteristics of the sought bodies on the basis of approximation of numerical data.
