Evolution of two vortices near a solid surface

Abstract: A numerical solution is found for the problem of evolution of two oppositely rotating vortices in a viscous incompressible fluid near a solid surface. The mechanism of vortex dissipation is determined. The trajectory of vortex motion is constructed.
