Influence of the initial parameters of liquid droplets on their evaporation process in a region of high-temperature gas

Abstract: This paper presents an experimental study of the influence of the main initial parameters (characteristic size, temperature, velocity) of droplets of an atomized liquid (water) on the process of their evaporation in gases at temperatures up to 1000 K. The limiting values of the initial parameters of liquid droplets at which the rate of evaporation reaches maximum and minimum values were determined.
