Random Multiple Access of Packets to a Channel with Errors

The article investigates the noise immunity of one multiple-access method, namely the stack algorithm. For this an infinite system of linear-algebraic equations for the conditional mean session length is considered. The region of transmission rates such that the system remains stable is determined. The boundaries of the region depend on the error probabilities.
