On the Asymptotic Behavior of the Transmission Capacity of Some Communication Channels

It is known that determining the transmission capacity of communication channels is an important and difficult problem leading, even in the simplest cases, to a system of transcendental equations which cannot be solved explicitly. In this paper asymptotic formulas are found for the transmission capacities of some communication channels.
