Abstract:
The paper focuses on a class of adverbial expressions whose typical function in a sentence is that of temporal localization of an event (TA-localizers).
The semantic structure of TA-localizer is described.
A typology of TA-localizers is suggested, which is based on different ways TA can use to locate its own interval.
A subclass named “calendar TA-localizers” is defined and described.
The latter is of primary interest when the task in hand is to identify events' absolute dates. (In Russian).
Key words and phrases:natural language processing, factual information extraction, linguistic analysis of temporal expressions.
