Abstract:
Experimental and theoretical investigations were made of the energy characteristics of a singly resonant parametric oscillator with injection of optical radiation into the resonator. In spite of the absence of matching between the spectral composition of the initiating radiation and the resonator modes, an increase in the conversion efficiency was observed. Injection of optical radiation into the resonator improved considerably the efficiency of conversion of the pump radiation into tunable emission and could be used to widen the tuning range.
