Analysis of conditions for stimulated Raman scattering of multimode pump radiation in dispersive media

A theoretical analysis is made of stimulated Raman scattering of multimode pump radiation in a dispersive active medium. Gain increments and the form of the scattered field are determined for arbitrary lengths of active medium and pump intensities.
