Abstract:
A report is given of theoretical and experimental studies of the influence of temperature on the selectivity of separating carbon isotopes by multiphoton vibrational and subsequent electronic excitation of $CF_3I$ molecules. Carbon dioxide laser radiation was used for vibrational excitation and $XeCl$ and $XeF$ excimer lasers were used for dissociation. A selectivity of 108 was achieved at 223 degree K.
