Investigation of the CH₃HCO decomposition reaction by intracavity laser spectroscopy

Abstract: An investigation is made of a possible application of intracavity laser spectroscopy to the kinetics of fast processes. It is shown that quantitative data can be obtained on short-lived radicals even when their concentration varies by more than an order of magnitude during the laser pulse.
