Abstract:
A description is given of the electrical circuits and construction of a compact discharge laser utilizing $He-Xe-CHCl_3(HCl)$ mixtures. The output energy of the $\lambda=308$ nm radiation emitted by this laser is 127 mJ per pulse, the power of the pulses is 12 MW, and the average power is $\thicksim0,4$ W at a repetition frequency 10 Hz. It is shown that the chlorine carrier in the mixture is recovered in the pulse-periodic operation.
