Dispersion of nonlinear susceptibility of lithium iodate crystals

Abstract: The method of spontaneous parametric light scattering was used to determine the dispersion of a component of the quadratic susceptibility tensor and the dispersion of absorption in the frequency range 1000–2000 cm^–1. The nature of the unshifted signal observed in the scattering of light by polaritons was explained.
