Abstract:
The intraresonator laser spectroscopy was used in a determination of the absorption spectrum of air in the 5850–5930 Å range. This spectrum was compared with the published information obtained by conventional methods using optical paths in the atmosphere amounting to many kilometers. Atmospheric absorption lines of NO2 were observed. The absorption coefficient of water vapor at the center of the 5919.054 Å line was determined at a pressure of 150 mm Hg.
