Abstract:
The results are given of a numerical analysis of the stimulated emission from a cw diffusiuon-type HF laser. It is shown that in the case of chain excitation the total efficiency of a cw laser operating under laminar reagent-mixing conditions may be several times higher than the efficiency of a laser employing a "cold" F+H2→HF+H reaction. The pressure dependences of the energy parameters of such a cw laser are investigated.
