Abstract:
The possibility of using a new class of hologram-recording materials, in the form of light-sensitive semiconductor-metal systems, is considered. Advantages of these materials over conventional photographic media are pointed out. A report is given of the results obtained using these materials in recording various types of holograms. Holographically determined properties of these materials, such as the frequencycontrast characteristic, temperature dependence of the sensitivity, and values of the diffraction efficiency, are given.
