Abstract:
The He–Ne (ν = 88 THz) and CO2 (ν = 29 THz) laser frequencies were synthesized by the authors' own method in which HCN (λ = 337 μ), D2O (λ = 84 μ), and CO2 (λ = 10.53 and 10.18μ) molecular lasers were used. The spectral width of the signal representing beats between the He–Ne and CO2 laser frequencies and a klystron (ν = 48 THz) frequency, all operated under free-oscillation conditions, was 40 kHz and the signal/noise ratio was 20 dB.
