Abstract:
The results are reported of an investigation of the reconstruction of Fourier holograms without collimating optics, using directly the radiation emitted from an injection laser. The dependences of the angular dimensions of a point in the reconstructed image on the dimensions of the emitting region of the laser and on the distance from the laser to the hologram are reported. An optimal reconstruction geometry is suggested for holograms recorded using gas lasers with different divergence of the reference beam. The results are given of a study of the energy characteristics of the injection laser-hologram-photodetector system.
