Investigation of the thermal stability of Cr–Au contacts with p-type GaAs

Abstract: Secondary-ion mass spectroscopy and surface profiling were used in a study of the thermal stability of the Au–Cr–p-GaAs contact system subjected to heat treatments at temperatures 300–500°C.
